i would like to buy an original clutch fork for the dauntless engine.
    it has a t14 transmission.
Recently took my transmission apart, and the fork i do have is a new aftermarket part, so i would like a correct one before i button it all back up.

the aftermarket fork that interacts with the pivot ball is attached crooked. its slipped off the pivot ball during transmission installation previously so i had to take it all apart and reinstall it a few times.

I've bent the pivot ball fork as much as I was comfortable bending it, but it's a cheap spot weld and I'm afraid of breaking if I bend it too much. Image is the new one I bought with the crooked pivot ball fork.

I have found . that installing bell housing on transmission first . install as a unit
makes the throw out bearing / clutch fork a easier install

That's what I do. New fork still slips off the pivot ball somehow, usually when it's almost ready to bolt to the engine

Just got off of the phone, he said it will work, need to buy the spring clip, it's not included, even though it's in the picture.

I will delete this post once it arrives/fits.

The clutch fork/throwout arm you have looks like the defective “Crown/Omix” part that PartsDude carries, and cautions about.
There may be another brand/source; LUK. They are a European clutch supplier, and hopefully have an independent source other than mentioned above. Their part is # LUK LF9813. An alternate part number may be LUK #15677-05586211.
These look like the correct part for the ‘66-‘71 V6 Jeeps and can be found by Googling. No promises its not the same one Crown sells.
I don’t think the clutch forks from AA will work on our Jeeps. You need the type with a forked end to accept a cable ball.
The best would be finding an original.

That cast one listed up above will be too long to use.
You have to shorten it and re-weld or braze. ( length and strength)
There is another piece used on the fork end to let you use the cable ball end if I recall.
I have one in my Jeep when I installed my SM420.

If you still need one I just saw an original listed on FB Marketplace under the Jeep Dauntless 225 V6 group.

The LUK one that Donny mentioned is shown on Rockauto, but out of stock.

This one doesn’t have the cable fork end used on the ‘66- ‘69-ish V6 range.
There are several other LUK vendors beside Rock Auto, but I still don’t know if they are re-branded Crown pieces, or not.
You still need the correct length clutch fork, but have you looked at the Advance Adapters chain clutch operator? I’ve had one on my V6 Jeep for years. They work well, are easy to adjust, and never bind up from chassis twist.
