I have few “before I die” wants in my life, but owning/building another Scout II or Traveller is one of them.

Looks like it has already been monkeyed with. Has early 70s Chevy axles under it.

    I will never understand that.

    1. So much more room for activities
    2. Its the LJ of the CJ world and we all know how much people desire an LJ over a TJ

The first girl I ever kissed way back in grade school…
    Her dad was my dentist…
He drove a light yellow Traveler. It looked so cool coming up our driveway to pick her up.

And I thought the listing was going to be for a Willys Traveler, a really rare Sedan Delivery.
The extended Scout ll version is fairly rare too. I always wondered if the hardtop on these was removable like on the Scout ll. This would be a lot more interesting with the original D44 axles.

Shame they put those axles under it. The body on that looks like it’s in good shape. Bet you some Jeep fanatic got those stock axles

The problem is width. I don't remember the exact dimensions, but the track width on a Willys PU is significantly wider in the rear than the front.
The rear axle we put in my son's PU is from an 80's F150 and it's slightly narrower than stock! The Wagoneer front axle is several inches wider than stock.

If I recall I think IH made a pickup version as well. That would be rare as well.
