    Thanks for the video.

Fella in the paint booth/room could use a fresh air source!

Interesting/surprising to see how much work is still done freehand. Have to wonder how the production rate and quality-control compares when the camera is not present.

I saw the one shot of the trans tunnel and thought, “Gosh, that looks like it was formed by a guy with a hammer.”

Two scenes later, there’s a guy with a hammer.

They could learn something from Henry Ford.
Not to impressed by what I see.

With the amount of these they put together it makes you wonder why they do not have a rigid jig to build it on to hold the pieces exactly right as they tack it together, it would be faster and far more accurate and way less frustrating for the end user

To be fair, he had a lot more volume to justify the investment in tooling.

We can be grateful that anyone at all is making jeeps, I'd say.

That's exactly what I was thinking, seems like a no-brainer to me.

Then they would have to pay and re-train workers. Might cost .50 an hour more in wages.

And that outfit stateside that puts them on a jig and redrills the holes in the right spot before they resell them would be out of business

I wish they would take the correction request from their buyers and resolve the hat channel and mounting holes issues. Not sure where they got their measurements to make their jigs. There is a guy here n the states that buys these tubs and corrects the errors and resells. There is a new computer that is making the tubs and kits in India and supposedly better QC and priming.

I was thinking "how can it be worse than the factory build quality on these old Jeeps?" Then I saw 3 guys assemble a tub on the floor with a bunch of vice grips, some wood blocks, and no jigs whatsoever.

Good grief. Every tub is a unique and special snowflake.

I just don’t understand how they can go from cutting parts out on a CNC laser, to then assembling those parts on a sheet of cardboard with hand tools and a MIG welder with safety-squint eye protection.

Im torn. Obviously nice to have new jeep bodies available but the lack of consistency, either good or bad could easily be improved upon. They must sell enough to not care. Or it's like that old saying about restaurants, a person eat there 10 times, foods good. The 11th time, it's bad, and all they talk about is that 1 bad time
