    Use the GPS on your phone to measure the percent correction you need and find something close by searching e-bay for "speedometer gear ratio adapter": https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=speedometer+gear+ratio+adapter&_sacat=0

    I did that for the '71 and it's perfect. It also allowed me to not pull the output housing and change the drive gear that I would have needed to do otherwise.

    What I ended up with in the '71. 1.2133:1 gearbox in my case:
