    I spent the better part of a decade trying to get GE to let us use some "other" method of locking a certain set of critical bolts in large generators. Traditionally they used lock wire, while effective, it has it's own issues in this application. We proposed all sorts of good stuff and they chose to go with split lockwashers.. I just went with the :shock:.. Really guys?? Really??
