Brakes On 68 Cj5

    What are the drum diameters on a 1968 cj5? Also is the master cylinder a dual port type or single. I am assuming that they have not been altered. Did some come with 11-inch front brakes? THX-Derral--

    We need to know 4cyl vs 6cyl. By 1968, I believe law required dual MC. On the v6, it would have been 10" Bendix style brakes all around. I think? the 4cyl stayed with Wagner style 9"....no CJs came with 11" until 1972.

    10" is the stock size. Lots of Jeeps get converted to 11" because it's super easy to do and works better. Verify what you have before you buy parts!
