I have to think about why my jeep leans. It is not the body sagging since the space between body and rear crossmember is the same. I just added new springs an i still have the body leaning to the driver side. I am at a loss to why i have the lean. i am thinknig possibly the frame is twisted some how. Where should i look for this lean?

oh i agree with the tilt, but mostly it has been body problems from what i have been reading. For soem reason i am thinknig my rear crossmember or the crossmember supporting the rear floor

Dan - get someplace level - measure ground to frame at all 4 corners, but most of all at the spring mounts. Then measure axle to frame at all 4 points. Measure shock points all the way around. Put a level on the bottom of the frame at cross points. This will let you focus on where exactly the 'lean' comes from. I had one that the 'lean' turned out to be bent spring hangers from the frame. Another was springs worn out. The level helped me find a twisted frame.

as i said in this post , the engine/tranny sits to the drivers side by over an inch so more of the weight of the drive line is on that side of the jeep, plus the steering stuff, brake pedals, master, linkages etc.. etc.. they are all on the drivers side.
