    Anyone got a pic of the oil filter bracket for an f head?

    Greg, the only one I have is on my CJ. As far as I recall that doesn't seem correct.
    I can shoot some pics of what's on mine later today.

    I just bought a mount from Walck's, new for ~$25., for the L head and it looked that. Has the mounting holes for the head studs but my stock filter can doesn't look like that one. Maybe it's a mixture.

    Greg, if you don't already the pic and info, I'll go shoot mine here in a minute. The can looks about right, the bracket isn't anything I recognize for a 61 F. Back in a bit.

    OK, let's try this:

    Top angle iron is 1 x 1 1/2 X 6 1/2 long, ends angle cut for clearance.

    Side plate is 5 long x 3 1/2 high in the front angled to 4 1/4 or so in the rear, for clearance. Oil fill tube bolts to the back of this plate also.

    1/8 is good. I figured a homemade job would be where you'd wind up. Pretty easy pieces, if you have access to material and even simple tools. If not, you know what you're looking for, anyway! Good luck! Need anything else, holler.
