Rear end ? for an idiot

    OK, so when I was polishing my wheels this weekend, I had the whole rearend lifted off the ground. Now, when I spun one wheel the other spun backward. This was with the transmission in gear. Does this mean that I have no LS or locker??? How would I test this without pulling the cover?? Is there a tag somewhere that would say??? Or does this mean nothing and I'm an idiot as stated above:rofl:

    I'm pretty green when it comes to rearends and such.

    Yes, that means you have a normal open differential with no limited slip or locker.

    open rear end. limited slip or locker would not permit much (if any) spinning w/trans in gear.
