Rear Seat Mounts

    Hi Guys,

    It appears the back seat on the '78 is a fold and tumble type. However, the PO has bolted the back of the seat to the floor as tho it were a solid seat. So now the back of the seat is bolted down, but there is nothing holding the front of the seat down. I am looking for the 2 pivot style mounts that would go on a fold and tumble front mount and also the side lockdown bracket. Does anyone know where I can find same?

    78 didn't come with a fold n tumble rear seat. The front "pivots" on a fold and tumble take two bolts each. As you can tell on your 78 you only have one threaded bolt hole for each front mount. I mounted a fold and tumble in mine with good luck. Your best bet is a bone yard for the parts your looking for. Any later model CJ or YJ mounts will work
