    Hi All,
I have a set of headers on my 304 and I would rather go back to a single muffler setup. Would a set of exhaust manifolds from a mid 80's Grand Waggy fit? I know the 360 heads will fit a 304 block but will the manifolds fit a 304?

I don't know about the mid 80s but the mid 70s will bolt up. I've been contemplating the same thing. The exhaust looks like it will have to be custom made though for clearance.. I think I'll look for a set of stock 304 exhaust manifolds.

I can get a set of 360's for free so it would be good if they fit. Maybe I'll get em and try it out.

Careful, I thought this too, but was wrong. Some of the 360 manifolds dump too far back on the drivers side to clear the steering intermediate shaft. As I recall you should get the one that dumps closer to cyl. 5.

I've got a set of 1970 AMX Free Flow manifolds on my '75 CJ-5 They are virtually identical to the originals, but they don't have provisions for smog tubes. They fit with the original single exhaust, but I had custom duals put on shortly after I installed them.

i'm thinking they will be a little harder to come by than a set off a Waggy. Thanks for the info though.

I have a 304 block sitting in a 78 cj5. I'll look and see if it has manifolds, if that helps. They'd probably need a fair amount of cleaning...

I have 2 304's and 3 360's years ranging from late 70's to late 80's exh manifolds all look the same.

They should be a direct drop in, operative work being "should be"

Vajeeper, let me know if they are there. I don't mind cleaning them up.
