Steering column ?????

Hey guys I need help.......again. At the base of my steering column there is a bearing that I would like to replace. I see that 4WDH has a kit, but it says it is only for 76 on up. Will this kit work for my 75. I feel like this is the next thing to replace after I have already done the box. Much better, but not good enough. That spot is pretty sloppy.

I doubt the '76 and up would work. In '76 they went to the big column. I assume your '75 has the little skinny one, right?

 

Yeah, probably. Am I just going to have to find the bearing at a parts store, or is there a kit I'm not seeing???

I have a 75 also could not find that bearing. Went to the dealership to order it when it got here, it was the wrong one. I just went and had the local machine shop make me one. I think it was $30.00 worked great.

 

Hey guys, I think I found the answer. mcmaster.com has a bearing that looks exactly like what I have. Item 7930K15. Same bolt hole spacing and shaft size. Looks like it too. I ordered one, I'll tell you how it works when I get it. It was only like $10....
