I am hoping to finish my son's 1968 cj5 tonight. Someone has gone through and rewired almost the entire jeep (they did not do a great job). I am trying to wire a switch for the blower motor and I have two wires coming out of the blower. One is red and the other is yellow. Does anyone know how this should be wired? I will most likely wire it to an on/off toggle style switch. Any help would be great.

Mine is wired to a triple throw switch for "high" and "low" fan. I imagine that your blower is similar. I will look at the wiring diagram tonight and do my best to comment- I am sure someone with specific knowledge will sound off pretty soon.

Take a battery charger and clamp the black (-) lead to a bolt, seat frame or some other good ground on the body. Then touch the red (+) lead to the wires one at a time, this should show you which is high and low by the way the fan runs.
