So since dumping the water and replacing it with oil in both the TC/transmission, most of it leaked out throught the forward TC seal. What little was left was milky so I'm planning on changing it a few times in an attempt to clean it out. I've also ordered a gasket/seal kit for it. Is changing the seals easy enough from undernieth without removing the TC from the jeep? Any tricks to make it easier? Thanks in advance.

    Fairly easy!
Yank driveshaft, remove yoke, yank out old seal w/ seal puller, gently tap in felt & seal, replace yoke & driveshaft. Fill 'er up & go. :)

Are ya sure thats all you want to do? Milky oil is never a good sign. All it takes is one speck of corrosion and it snowballs from there.

At this point I'm hoping for the best, it's still a $200 jeep. Anyone heard of flushing with ATF to help clean it out? ATF has a high detergent content - should have dispersants too. That could "grab" the water and much crud and carry them out.
