    Guys,

Here is the problem. A couple of years ago I install the AA swinging pedal conversion on my 71 JC5, Just this week I picked up my disc brake dana 44 front that I had built. I called AA to see which proportioning valve to use and I was told that their kit doesn't work with disc brakes. Now I have to redo my pedals and MC. Should I go later model CJ stuff or something from the summit catalog like Tilton? I am mad I have to redo the brakes but the good news is someone here should get a killer deal on a gently used AA swinging pedal conversion kit.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Doh!

Go with later model CJ IMO.

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

    shame on AA
maybe install an adjustable prop valve in line
all a m/cyl does is push fluid and hold pressure
what do you have to lose ?

That's what I was going to do until I talked to AA. I guess it can't hurt to try. Any idea what to set the pressure at?

Usually a disk m/c has a higher volumn than a drum. Also a drum m/c normally have a built in residual pressure valve. Can't you just swap out the m/c for a disk/drum unit?

I guess I could if I knew what would fit the AA swinging pedal kit. I don't know what MC would work though...
