Not bad, I might have to give that a try. How big of a compressor are you using with it?

    Good job.
For me, I just went to HF and bought a pressurized type blaster. Comes with all the valves, wheels for rolling it around, extra nozzles, pressure gauge, high pressure hose, etc. for less than $100. Figure I couldn't collect all the stuff I needed for the price, plus the time to do it
I would like to build an extra wide (dual glove) sandblasting cabinet though. I should copy the specs of the one at my work and double the width. ;)

By the way, you should never blast with sand! The dust created contains silica, very dangerous for your lungs. All commercial made cabinets have a warning sticker on them about this.

I looked at the HF sand blasters and wasn't impressed. I have been stashing various pipe fittings and other junk for years and knew that i could build one for much less money. Now that i know it works i am going to look for a commercial hose with ceramic nozzles.
I am also thinking about building a cabinet to blast in. Most of the stuff i need to blast wont fit in a cabinet so i built the little tank blaster first.
I have a commercial grade resperator that i use when i am working in dusty conditions. i am not too worried about silicosis.

I can probably buy most of the misc. parts for a cabinet local (McMaster Carr) and just buy sheet metal at my local yard and weld together. I would like to build something at least 48" wide or wider.
