I have a project that may require a few scrolls and possibly a few curved bends. I saw this bender and liked the idea of bending up to 5/8 bar stock as well. Could come in handy later.

Anyone have experience with this type of work, this tool or suggestions for a better method?

Today I only have plans for light use, but if I am going to buy something I'd rather buy something designed for serious use just in case a bigger project comes up.

Any thoughts on the above are welcomed.

    Thanks.

Keep on an eye on harbor feight. They have the same bender and you can usually get it on sale for around $85. I just picked up the bench top model for $55. Also the scrolling attachment is sold seperately just so you know (I realized that after I bought it). Seems to be an okay peice of equipment, I haven't really used it much yet so time will tell.
