Problems mounting skid plate

    I did the trans swap to a sm420 mated to the buick v6 1967 cj. The skid plate will not fit. Any suggestions?

    What about is not fitting?? Bolt holes lining up, not enough clearence??? Do you have any pics...

    It seems to have no clearance.

    pics would help.........However if it is less than 1/2" I would make some spacers to lower skid plate. any more and I would make a new plate.

    I had to make 1/2" or 3/4" spacers for the skidplate when I swapped in the T-18.
