Clutch cables

I have a '70 CJ-5 with a 225 V6 but I don't know what kind of tranny it has, all I know is that it is a 3-spd. I need to get a clutch cable for it but can't find one. Anyone have any ideas? Also, how do I know what kind of tranny I have?

 

Should be a t14, is it syncro'd in all forward gears?? If it is then its definately a t14. Should look like this:
with the number T14A or 1302 cast on the top edge of the transmission or on to the shift housing. The fill plug should be on the passenger side. The clutch cable can be gotten at http://www.jeepdoc.com/

 

Yep, what mcruff said. If you're able to remove the tranny shifter cover from the floor, some numbers on top of the shifter boss should be visible. Or just climb underneath the Jeep and wire brush all around to reveal digits.

or check with advance adapters and get that clutch gear upgrade. you'll still need a cable, but it it SO worth it. mine doesnt fall off anymore, it doesnt have a flat spot causing the jeep to lurch forward when it slips off the flat spot. SOOOO nice!
