I'm thinking of getting BFG MT 33x10.50x15's for my Jeep. Just wondering if anybody was running these and could get me actual dimensions of the tire and a pic or two. Thanks much

    Thinkin' Bob (ljspop) is.

I'm leaning toward the 33x9.5 ATs myself.

I'm running BFG A/T's in a 33/12.5-15 on an 8" rim. They ACTUALLY only measure 31.5" in diameter... wish I knew that before purchase, I would have gone 35's (probably actually 33) instead.

    Just food for thought !

SuperSwampers are about the only tire size I know that runs close to true to size. Doesn't surprise me, even BFGs spec sheets list the 33's as being smaller than 33" tires w/ the provision that it's an average on the specified mounted wheel size and tires may vary.

Well that's interesting... My 31"s that I've got on now measure exactly 31". Seems like it would be pointless to put on the BFG 33's for just another 1". What width rims do you have yours on?
Anyone besides Super Swamper make a 34"?

EDIT: How well do the BFG's do in the mud?

Not too much mud around here, so no real input there. 15"x 7"

Well enough in my experience. I hate mud, but used to play in it at Attica. They're no Super Swamper but they do well.

I just took a set off my pickup have had several sets the do very well in the mud, not a swamper or gumbo mudder but I like them. Good milage too.

I run 33x10.50 bfg mt's on a 7.5x15 rims from a f 150 works well at about 20psi sorry no pics but they are about 32.25" tall and 6 months old.I used to have 34x9.5x15 and 33x10.5x15 swampers they had more traction but not the ride or handling of the bfg's .

Anyone have the actual dimension for the 35" BFG MT? Not what's reported on their website, but measured by you?
