I have a question for you. Why are you planning on a body lift & extended shackles? From what I can see that will give you a total of 9 1/4 inches lift. That much lift on a CJ5 is not the best idea I've heard of. You might want to do a search on body lifts or lift angles to see what you will be getting in to.

If you put that extended of shackles on you will need to put shims under the front spring pack or you will surely have a scarey steering ride. I would stay away from that extended of shackle. If they are 2.25 inch lift shackles that means they are 4.5 inches longer than stock. That will also look really funny and if you plan on wheelin' it, you will probably drag on them constently.

Remember, when you lift a short wheel based, narrow vehicle, you increase the risk of rolling it. Especially on road when performing an evasive manuver.

What size tire are you trying to run??

well the 4 inches i was told by the guy i got it from i dont know the stock ride so it was a guess what size shackles do you think i have on there now i want to go about an inch more ... as for the 2 or 3 inch body lift i wanted it because i will be cutting the seat notch for longer legs and i wanted it to be easyer to clean and have the underside bed lined .and to work on with break lines and fuel lines and things of that sort

thanks for all the feed back
