I've been researching swapping my single stick d-18 behind the v-6 and t-14 with the d-18 twin stick that was behind the f head and t-90.... from reading on Novaks site , they should both have 29T main gears just diff. of 10 spline vs 6 spline , that should be easy enough to swap.... but what about output yokes ?? The u-joints on the rear look the same but the v-6 front is way smaller than the 4 cyl. front... Are the output shafts the same spline count on all d-18's , that I could just swap front yokes so I do't have to swap the d/s too??? I can only find a listing for 1 size.....

The yoke on the front can be swapped (splines are the same). I have a large yoke on my dana 18 that was twin sticked. You can also use the large front yoke off of a dana 20. If it were me I would swap the twin stick parts onto your large hole v6 case and not swap the small hole t90/dana 18.
You can seperate the large hole case from the t14 without taking the bull gear off the back. If you use the small hole you will have to remove the bull gear before seperating the transmission and transfercase. Its much easier the other way around if you need to work on one. If you decide to use the t14 and small hole dana18 you will have to change the bearing retainer in the rear of the trans, if its even possible to use this transfercase with the t14.

Yep. Note that Novak's premium intermediate shaft is not part of the rebuild kit. If you intend to install that (recommended... better steel, better seals) you must order it in addition to the kit.
    Keep us posted!

Don’t know if you already knew this or not, since it hasn’t been posted yet, but I’d go with whichever transfer case has the bigger intermediate shaft diameter, 1 ¼” is prefered. I’d assume it’s the one with the big hole locating bore from the T-14, since I’m pretty sure that one attached to the T-90 will have the 1 1/8” diameter shaft. You can measure this from the outside also. You’ll need to know this to order intermediate shaft and bearings anyway.
