Broken bolt length ???

The PO of Rusty saw fit to bolt a solid mount from the pass. side front lower headbolt to the frame... needless to say as I tried to take the headbolt out to take off the bracket it snapped.... looks like it snapped flush with the block ,judging by the length that I ended up with.... I'm going to use a spotting punch to get the center of the hole then drill and tap it with the head on (I hope).... does anbody, thats had their motor apart know the length of that bolt and if it's a blind hole or goes all the way thru the block ??

ooops forgot to add... 225 V-6

 

hang on, going out to check spare V6 block.....

 

OK, here's the dealio....

-Bolt overall length is 3"
-Hole doesn't go all the way thru....stops exactly 1" deep.
-So if your bolt truly snapped flush with the block, you should see 4 or 5 threads on the busted part and should measure 2".

Clear as mud? Need a good, used bolt?
