I was looking at leaf springs on the JCW site and it looks like the leaf springs are the same for 55-75 for both front and rear? Does that mean leaf springs from a 60's era CJ5 will fit my 72? I have a line on a set in good condition for $50.

All 55-75 CJ5 springs are interchangeable, respectively... I don't have the measurements handy, I don't think they interchange front-to-rear.

The 60's era should be a direct fit to the '72. Keep in mind they are ~40 years old, so I would't expect them to provide any lift... but they're probably better than broken springs or no springs :)

The front leafs are shorter than the rears..I have a few extra of each if you are in dire need..
