PerTronix upgrade

    I have a 1966 CJ5 with a stock F-134. It has a Prestolite distributor that appears to be marked IAD 1?01. I was looking into upgrading the distributor with a PerTronix electronic ignition. Can anyone tell me if this is a worthwhile upgrade?
