can you verify that code # ?
    T-492 appears as a trim code for J-10, J-20 pickups in 1974
    green vinyl, bucket seats
the code does not appear in any of the CJ trim codes

I am pretty sure but I will check my Jeep. I think this time I will take a picture of the damn thing.

Is that what the Trim Option refers to is the color of the seats? I was wondering if it had anything to do with the Renegade option.

I checked 73 and prior as well on the chance it might have been an earlier trim code....
usually it just has to do with seat style and fabric. On other models, Limiteds, etc, it's also for door trim panels, headliners, armrests, etc
any soft trim of the interior of the vehicle.

Hey Jim, do you have the trim codes for the '71 and prior vehicles? If so, could you post them over in the early forum? Thanks!
