Fuel tank filler hole

    For those of you with fiberglass bodies, what did you do to cover the hole through which the fuel tank filler hose protrudes? I tried putting the stock round grommet in there, but it doesn't fit...the rear panel is too thick. Any suggestions?

    I've run into the same problem on my '75 tub. I'm kicking around the idea of getting a sheet of stainless, making a nice square and bolting it on the body. Then I figured I could use the stock rubber grommet. Haven't done it yet, but just an idea.
