My fuel pump has started leaking. There is a small hole in a square about half way down on the pump that the gas is coming out of. (it is the original fuel pump - glass bowl with vacuum I am still using the vacuum wiper so an electric is not an option). I have noticed that if the Goose sat for any amount of time the fuel would be gone out of the bowl plus I had very low vacuum to drive the wiper. The vacuum is not an issue as I don't drive it in the rain but I want to keep it original.

Should I buy a new one ($60 @ NAPA) or try to rebuild this one?

I'm curious, because I'm gonna face this too. Is the NAPA pump just like the original, w/vacuum? And where do you get a rebuild kit for the original?

Oh, and did you get a new gasket from DeBella for your venting windshield?

I have not seen the NAPA part (they have to order it) but they did say that it was mechanical Fuel/Vacuum Pump - so I assume it is correct.

I have not bought the W/S seal as I have been TOOOOO busy trying to sell the house and find one to buy. + my work wants me to work!!!
