VIN Info

    I know this has been discussed so I am sorry. My 74 is lacking the firewall plate, and subsequently all the information it holds. Is there any way, from any source I can get the original paint code, trim code etc that were only on the firewall plate? I mean the specific codes for my Jeep. Thanks.

    Not sure if you know the original color (or paint chip) of your jeep but if you do a FSM will have the paint code. We do have members here that have some info on trim codes, should be along shortly.

    I have the info to do the cross-reference but I need a way to get the codes either from the VIN (which I do not think is possible) or from another source.
