I was able to convert my '75 to P/S for about $60. It all depends on what you pay for the pump and brackets and gearbox. I happen to have an extra pump and brackets laying around that will bolt up to your 304 if you need them. They are all painted and pretty.

I have yet to get the front drum-to-disc conversion completed. I may have sourced a D30 disk setup from the knuckles out for $75 but that is not in stone yet.

I have all the parts for the drum to disk and I have the pump, a brand new ps steering box, and hoses for the power steering conversion. I don't have a shaft yet. Now I am wondering if I am actually going to do it... I have had so many problems doing OTHER work on the Jeep, I am thinking it is best to leave the thing alone.
