Currently putting a 360 into my 75 CJ5 with the org. T-15 3-speed trans. Since the new flywheel is drilled to accept 10 3/8" clutch (Org. to my CJ with the 304) and the 10 5/16" clutch, I decided to go with the larger one. Everything fits up fine but the throwout bearing. The inner diameter of the bearing is about 1/8" to small to fit over the input shaft collar of the trans. Has anyone doing this swap run into a similar problem? Should I switch to the smaller clutch and kit? Thanks

Uh, 5/16" is smaller then 3/8" by 1/16" - you sure that's what you mean? Napa lists a 10.4" clutch... Are you using a 360 flywheel? The 304 and 360 are (externally) balanced differently.

You should be able to use an 11" clutch, cover and bearing from a 71-79 J-truck with the standard 3-speed or 4-speed. Should be the same. Napa lists the 10.4" and 10.95" clutch for the 3 and 4-speed respectively, but either should work.
