ok i just bought a set of 79 cherokee chief wide track axles and am wondering how to get the springs to mate up to the perches. i know i have to out board the spring hangers, but i need some ideas of how to do it. my idea is using angle iron and gusseting the crap outta it. also would it be a good idea to upgrade to yj springs?

Shoot me your email addy i can send you pics. I used some plate steel and angle iron and gussets. Pretty much i took a piece of flat and placed it under the frame with part outside. This part outside the angle will sit on and be welded to, as well as the angle being welded to th eframe side. Then cut some more palte steel and gusseted the sides of the angle to th eframe. I was going ot cap the top but didnt get to it.
