CJ-5 Disc brake conversion?!?!

    to do this, do i just need the caliper disc brake bracket, calipers & rotors,
    (arent the knuclkes the same?!)

    this is for a 1975 CJ-5

    If you get the parts from a 77 or 78 model axle with 6 caliper bolts, the answer is yes. If you get it from a later axle, take everything knuckles out.

    I *think" the knuckles are different. The disc knuckles have a notch for the caliper (???).

    It's a pretty easy swap if you can get the parts from a later dana 30. Those will have the brackets and if you swap the complete knuckles then you have the spindles as well. They are different for the disc version.
