72 cj5 axles

hay uall im new here but not to the jeep world ive been jeeping for a while now any way what i need to no is what axle does a 72 cj 5 have under it is it a 30 like my 73 or a 27 or even a 25 i no the rear is a 44 its got select-o-trac hubs also

 

Should be a 27. Is it an open knuckle or closed? Also check the webbing on the centersection and see what the stamp says it is. These old Jeeps have a tendency to not have the correct axles under them. My 60 came with a 27 and now has a dana 30.

 

well i don't no for sure its another guys for now i was just curious because he wants to take out the axles an put under his 7 ill be trading a t150 an steering coulm for the rest of it im going to restore it an make a dd out of it i got the factory axles out of my 73 the 30 an 44 is what ill put back thx for the help
