New frame patches

    Here are a few pics of the new frame patches I fabbed up. They fit absolutly perfect! If anyone needs a copy of the template I used, lemme know and I can dupe it and send it to you.....I made them out of 3/16". I also installed a new rear crossmember that I got off Ebay for $40 - much easier than making my own since the metal would have cost me $20......
    As you can see from the installed pic (not yet welded), I added 2 half inch grade 8 bolts just to be on the safe side - I don't trust my welding yet......

    Looks very good! :beer: Do these slip over the old sections, or replace the old sections?

    They slip over the front portion (where the bolts are) and replaces the rear portion. The bolts go through 'good' metal on both sides of the frame. The small plate that 'boxes' in the rear portion mates to the section that I cut off the old frame.
