cj5 hard top

    Can someone give the measurement of top of cj5 hard top for a 1974 cj ? I found a hard top at a swap meet and when i put it on it fit in back but the front lip that goes over the windshelid it about 3" short.What do i got ? it came without doors so i can't try them..:( you get what you pay for...i guess pay $100 for it :oops:

    Sounds like you need to swap windshields.

    Yeah - the 76 or later windshiled tilts back more and is narrower across the top. Depends on whether you want the top bad enough to change the windshield, I suppose.
