Sorry its been so long since I've updated this. I'm still alive and doing well! Hopefully everyone else is also.R)

I have to say I don't feel like I've done much to the jeep in quite a while. Most of it is just little odds and ends that need to get done, but nothing that makes for a big update. I've spent the past 4-5 months working on my toyota to get it ready for a cross country trip, in addition to that I'm lacking funding for this project so that makes it hard to accumulate new parts.

The good news is that I'm engaged now!:) I'd like to get this done before the wedding next spring, but we'll see how that goes.

    On to the updates:

I finnally started working on the fuel cell. Its all aluminum. My TIG welding sucks, but it does hold water. Still haven't finished it yet.

Also did some work to the floor on the pass side. As well as the firewall and roof.

    Got the front bumper finished.

I just recently started working on the fuel lines. With these in place I can get the drivers side floor area done.

I still have a ton of stuff to do. Finish front axle brake lines, exhaust, finish the fuel cell, finish all of the interior and exterior body work, wiring, e-brake, rear driveline, etc.....

    Enjoy,
    Kevo

Yes, she is very jeep tolerant! I wouldn't have asked if she wasn't.

She calls my jeep the "mistress" as it seems to be the other woman in my life.R)

She has actually been out wheeling with me and enjoys it. She really likes to get out and go hiking and camping so she fits right in. She just doesn't like the bathroom situation out there in the middle of nowhere.

Works picked up a bit so I haven't had much time for this, but I did have a "Pack" meeting at our house the other night so I got it as together as I could. Decided to take it for a spin outside today.

I did finally finish the front floor area and firewall.

I'm doing the dusy-ershim trail this next week-weekend and hopefully after that I'll have a bit of time and motivation to keep going on the body work. I really need to get that heavy duty ouput and t-case e-brake now as its holding me up.

    Enjoy!

I've been abusing my work privilages to learn solidworks the past few months. Its handy for what I do at work as well as working on the jeep.

I came up with this nifty shifter idea to relocate the pass drop t-case shifters over to the drivers side. I've had twin sticks in the jeep for a while now but never really used them since they were so far away. This should locate the shift knobs to just left of my knee.

I've made a little more sheet metal progress. The rear tailgate panel is on with the brake lights installed and I've cut out the drivers side panel also. No pics yet though.

    Enjoy,

That looks easier than what I did, I bent my D300 twin sticks to come out on the drivers side. It took many tries to get it right, I had just enough room to go between the SM465 and the floor.

The woman left town for the weekend so I'm actually making some progress.

Got the rear cargo area sheetmetal done.

Still lots to do, but its taking shape. I need to go and see if poly has any more 1/4" hole trick tabs and weld on resy mounts. I also need to order more fasteners at this point.

    Enjoy!
