Gents, New to the Jeepster clan but eager to get moving. I have a 67 Jeepster with Ross steering in desperate need of drag link and bell crank maintenance. I thought smart to remove the drag link first then beat the the tre off the bell crank. What's the process to remove the drag link? I pulled the cotter pin (duh), but nothing gives after that. I don't want to screw this up even before beginning. Appreciate any and all advice or kicks in the butt. Go USA:flag:

Behind the cotter pin there is a screw, it needs to be unscrewed enough for the ball socket to loosen up and the link to pop off.
They are the parts with the cross in them in the upper left corner of this picture.

Is the screw the size of a walnut? Can I simply stick a screwdriver into the channeled T-set and twist? Dang I hate being ignorant.

The screw is pretty large, about 3/4" in diameter. Yes a large screw driver will work!! Ignorance is just not knowing and can be cured, dumb and stupid is permanent!;)

They also sell drag link sockets at Sears.

WOOHOO.... small success for the little guy. Always willing to learn and try new things... One end of the drag link disconnected... on to the other... then the bell crank. Almost feel like having a cold frosty to celebrate. Appreciate the assist.

Just to keep you updated on the progress. Drag link and bell crank removed. Confirmed that the bell crank was an 1 1/8. Parts on order from The Jeep Man. Go USA:flag:

Action complete! Ordered the wrong size bell crank bolt so had to wait on the reorder, then had to wait on the machine shop to press the bearings in... steering bell crank and drag link ends complete. The new parts took out most of the wheel free play. I still need to pull the steering wheel, replace that bearing and reposition the steering wheel straight. Thanks for the assists. Go USA.:flag:
