Can anyone tell me if the (side-to-side and wheel-cylinder) steel brake tubes for an early CJ-5 will fit the C101 Commando?

What about the tubes from a C104 Commando (including front-to-back)?

I Can't find a supplier for the C101 tubes, but can find them for the other vehicles.

Also, is the tie rod for an early CJ5 the same as the C101?

    Thanks

Had a quick look through the parts manual, Cj's are different. Some of the front ones are the same number. Easier and a lot cheaper just to buy pre-flared line close to the length you need. Longer line front to back you can join with connectors and get close to the length for that. Always be on the safe side and get a little longer than what you actually think you measured. 3/16th line is easy to bend. You could also buy a flaring tool and a roll off line and some ends and make your own. Course that's not for everybody, it does take some practice to get it right if you've never done it before. Double flare style flaring tool, don't get a cheap set, they're well, cheap. MAC, Snap-on, they're on Ebay all the time.
Tie rod ends according to my handy dandy Jeepserman Fast Reference Parts List are the same.

Just bent mine for the first time not long ago. Just remember measure 10 times and cut once. Take your time and don't rush the flares and you should be good to go. Also heed the advice above and steer clear of cheap flaring tools.
