My rig is without an E-Brake. After a thorough inspection while replacing the master cylinder and all four brake cylinders we noticed the entire E-Brake setup is gone. Even the brackets on the shoes to mount the cable to.

Does anyone have an exploded diagram with all the parts I need? I want to try and get as many new as possible and avoid the bone yard. My closest bone yard is several hours one way.

Are there any other decent E-Brake options that are non traditional, besides the wheel chock I use now. A BIG reason for getting it is to use when launching on a steep incline at a stop light. I have been an old Blazer guy and they all had automatics, so I am not the best stick driver around.

if you mainly want it as an aid when starting on hills i would consider a line lock type setup. here is one from jegs.

i think you would find a traditional ebrake would make it even more difficult as it is just another thing to mess with at the light. with the line lock you could just put a shift knob with a switch on it and have control right there in your hand an the shifter.

another option to think of to help you start out on hills is a hand throttle mounted on your shifter using a bicycle lever. that way both feet are free to work the clutch and brake. there are several companies out there that make them for about 25-40 bucks i just cant think of any at the moment
