OK, does anybody have a picture or diagram of how the horn is hooked up on the steering column? I'm thinking it is a small window on the bottom side of the column that a contact brush rubs against. :?
Does anybody know where I could find this contact brush assembly? I'm nearly done with the wiring and want to get the horn connected (for some strange reason I like to have a horn!).

Let's see, maybe if I rephrase my question... Does anybody remember what the little thingy under the steering column looks like that makes the horn work?R)
Seriously, all I'm trying to do is get a picture, either mental or real, of how the horn contact is hooked up. Is it a carbon wheel, a brass bushing, or what... if I can figure this out, then maybe I can find and order one!
And no, I'm not planning to do a steering column swap anytime in the near future, but I have seen some really nice aftermarket systems!
So, anybody... experts, newbies like me... I'm open to any thoughts, even fabbing a new contact wouldn't be out of my league.
    Thanks all!

It is a simple device which is a square piece of plastic that has a bent copper spring that rides on the column attached. A wire is attached to the spring, and then the wire attaches to the column with a small screw.

I thought I had a picture of one that I sent to another member here, but I can't find it. I have another column with one on it that I can get some pics of it for you. The only pic I can find right now is this one and you can see part of it on the column behind the square clamp on the left.

TigerShark: Most excellent. That would great if you could post a couple more pics!:)
You can either use the forum (which would benefit everybody) or you can email them to me. If I get a clearer picture in my mind of the spring contact, and how it fits together, I may just be able to fab one. I love playing with power tools!
