If Sparky would be so kind as to allow me, there's some web-only shots of my '48 Willys pickup build here:

    http://www.jpmagazine.com/projectbuild/154_0612_1948_jeep_willys_pictures/

When time allows I'll add similar extra photos of my CJ-6 and flattie buildup. I've got several hundred photos that never appeared in the magazine that I've been saving for years. I'll update when they're posted.

I still hold a grudge against Cappa's 3b comments :) but I like it when you post pics of the buildups in your garage/driveway. Too many times I see a mag that is doing a buildup on a lift in a shop that has every tool at their desposal instead of the real world we all deal with.
Thanks for pictures and patina Jeeps and let me know when Cappa starts a 3b project. R) R)

I've always like the Willy's pickups. I've been following your buildup online and I''m hoping to rob some ideas for the buildup I'm starting. I had the pleasure of running the Barrett Lake trail with this Willy's truck in Sept. It's very short, the truck, that is. About as long as a CJ7, but wide. Posi front and rear and he did great.

Dummy, I am huge fan and I appreciate you keeping JP real. I can't wait to see more of all three projects especially the flatfender.

    Did you sell Hatari?

Yeah, had to sell Hatari. Hated it, but I was using it as a daily driver for my 250-mile round trip to the office. The cold and noise really started to bite, so about a year ago I bought my TJ. It took a few months to find the right buyer, but I sold the CJ-6 in March to repay the bank account for the TJ and its upgrades. The guy who bought it chimes in here from time to time, so it's not really gone.

Last I heard he's got the body off the frame for a nice paintjob, etc. and he had installed a new intermediate shaft in the Spicer 18. I can't bear to think of that Jeep with nice paint, but I'm sure it's going to be great.

Looks good Christian. I always though boomerang shackles went the other way. Can they go both ways? I took some leaves out of the front of the Jeepster, and now the flat springs are pushing the shackles out. I don't think boomerangs are going to help though.
