Ticking from driver side Valve Cover

    I get a ticking from my drivers side valve cover, is this normal for the :v6: 225

    You possibly have a gummed up hydralic lifter. Try a fresh oil change and add a quart of "Marvel Mystery Oil". Do not over fill crankcase. It should clear up after about 100 to 200 miles of driving. If not, you'll have to start looking into the engine for unusual wear on the lifter bottom.
