Here's the latest addition to my Jeep I've been working on. It started as an F-150 rear that I cut 5 inches off of the passenger side. That let me run an Early Bronco 27" shaft. The overall WMS to WMS is 60.5". The pinion ended up about 4.5" off of center. The Dana 44 it's replacing is 5" off center, so I think it'll work OK. With the 31 spline alloys it should be way stronger than the stock rear.

And the new front Dana 44. It started as a Dodge. I narrowed the passenger side 5 inches to run a Wagonner long side shaft. WMS to WMS is right at 62".

Oh yeah, Detroits and 4:88's. the front will get better joints and alloy shafts later. Not in the budget right now.
