    What about the front bumper?

I do like the clean look of a stock ECJ5.

How could I forget that FUGLY thing! Yes - it will go after I grind off the spot welds that a PO used to attach it.

Why return to stock seats. I am desperately trying to find high backseats for safety. I would gladly swap seats in a minute with you if you lived in Tucson

I just realized you're probably going for a complete stock restoration I would still hang on to the high backseats If you end up driving it on the road a lot.

I won't be wheeling this one seriously at all - most will be farm roads & fields if anything. I think these seats are Toyota, not bad at all. I had a 1979 CJ5 that had low backs & like them better on hot summer days when running errands.

In that case low back backseats would definitely be the way to go. Sounds like you live in a rural area. Sometimes I wish I did, but unfortunately I live in the middle of the city with a stop sign Every quarter mile.
