my cj-5 work in progress

    well i have tore into my cj.. trying to fix buggered up wiring from previous owners and this and that.. dash was a mess you can't really tell from the pic but the old dash was big time bent..vary wavy and someone fiberglassed over the glove box and a few other spots and did not sand it vary good before painting... so i have yanked the dash ..bought a piece of 1/8" thick aluminum and here is where i am so far.. i just stuck it in to get an ideal of how it will look ...much more to do ....

    Nice looking work.

    It is amazing what people do to their vehicles. I had to deal with some issues on mine.

    well my dash is about done.. only thing to install yet is the factory cj tach...
    which i plan to mount above the black choke knob

    East Canton? You're by chance not the guy that was selling the Jeepster a few months back are you?

    nope... did not sell a jeepster ... parted out a 80 cj-5 but thats about it..
    still have cj front clip for sale if you know anyone looking for one..
    good shape.. hood fenders and grill all lights and wires are still on it..
    was wanting $300 bucks for all ..and i have other stuff as well..

    Nope. Thanks anyway. I was e-mailing a guy back and forth from East Canton about a Jeepster he had listed on ebay several times and it didn't sell. I thought we were getting close to a deal then I never heard form him. Oh well :)

    Great job on the dash. I need to get crack-a-lackin on my CJ5!

    added mirror's, seat belts, bikini top and cleaned things up a bit...
