Closed Knuckle Front Axle Lube

    What kind of lube do you put in the closed knuckle housing? The shop manual states universal joint lubrication, using #1 or #2, but I'm guessing it is actually talking about the universal joint inside. Should it be 80-90W?

    Txjake I wrenched with Sparky

    Texaco Starplex #7, says Moses Ludel. But do a search for knuckle pudding as there are a few good receipes.
