Muffler?

    I have headers with side pipes and they are non baffled style and i was wondering if there is a way to quiet them done? is there a way to make a baffle for them? i like the look of the side pipes and dont want to change i just was some relif from the noise, i cant even hear my stereo!

    I have the same problem. I was thinking of having the end of the exhaust, instead of exiting out in front of the rear wheels. Turn the pipe back under the frame. Then go along the inside of the frame rail and have the pipes exit behind the rear wheels. What you think?

    i like the look of the side pipes in front of the rear tires, i just dont want to run them out the back and dont want to run a pipe form the fender well header under the chassis for ground clearence reasons. but what else can i do, i think im going tone def.

    FWIW I ran a setup like that for years in my 5 - even out in CO and UT wheeling. Never had an issue with it.

    You might also look into short turbo mufflers.
