    Heya gang,

I'm wanting to convert my bell crank clutch to a hydraluic setup but I'm not too sure how to go about it. I was wondering if anyone could add some input to the install process. I have the stock bell housing. About all I know is that it requires some fab skill. If anyone has pics of the install or a write up it would go a long way in helping me.

Do a search. I just ran one for Hydraulic Clutch Conversions and got 26 threads.

Thanks, I tried that but didn't find anything that could help in those threads.

Clutch master cylinder mounts on the firewall next to the brake master cylinder. If you have power brakes then you cannot do it this way. You have to cut a hole for the push rod to pass through to the clutch pedal arm. You also have to drill a new hole in the clutch pedal arm and use a pin to secure the push rod to the arm.

I have a t-150 bell housing with my T-18 and the slave cylinder bolted right to it with no modification. I don't know what has to be done with the earlier styles.

Wow thanks so much guys. Those pics and the write up gave me a pretty good idea of how to go about it. I think I'll buy the set up from Partsmike and tackle it over a weekend.

As of now my clutch linkage is fubar'd. I lost the push rod driving home from camping one weekend. Fortunately a wrench I had on me was able to take the place of the push rod. Never again will I deal with bell crank set up!
