Didn't want to hijack the previous thread on rear taillights but wanted to learn more about LED park and signal lights you used on the front of tour Jeep. Did you wire in 4" amber lights or just swap out the bulbs? If you wired in amber LEDs how did you wire them?

Hi, I did it the easy way I just changed bulbs, but you better check....some are NOT DOT approved (and I think I'm stretching the law myself, shhh!) I think there was an article in JP mag. about installing a set of LED taillights?

Thanks 4dawudz. I went ahead and checked the wiring out with an old set of 4" round lights that I had used in the rear before I put LEDs . They were brake, signal and taillights. They work and are the same size as the existing parking/sig lights up front. I have seen where truckers use these lights on trailers and believe they are DOT approved.
